Like Jackpine, I too am here because of Spy Falcon. I want to thank you all for offering your help and encouragement to rid my computer (if not the world) of this kind of malicious garbage. I have often wondered what might be accomplished with the time and energy spent disseminating and fighting this kind of stuff were it put to put to productive use. Hopefully, with the help of this site, I will be able to learn how to increase my own productivity and possibly even be able to give back to the community.

The more knowledge you have about various kinds of malware, the easier it becomes to prevent infections and avoid spending time getting rid of them.
Welcome to this great user community!
