I can not install a number of different programs (adobe flash,McAfee) on my computer. After saving the file the install starts but can not complete the task. Has anyone had a simular problem that they were able to correct and could possibly direct me to the fix the problem?

Are you infected?

Why are you trying to install McAfee on your system now?

Can you provide some details leading up the urge to install McAfee, Flash, etc.?

Please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic323892.html/page__p__1797792#entry1797792 .

Appreciate the response...but can you please follow the instructions for posting a Speccy link?

The link is much more readable and useful to anyone looking for potential problems.

Once the link is posted, I will remove the text you previously posted.

Thanks :).

Louis
