For the last month or so any program I open hangs up on start up. I noticed it first with my browser, (First IE and now Chrome) since that is the program I use the most, but have also noticed it with any program I open. I also get a DNS error about every other time I go to a website. I just receive a call today from a friend saying they are receiving suspicious email from me. I ran Malewarebytes twice, cleaned out my temp files and my internet cache files, and ran AVG twice. Neither Malewarebytes nor AVG came up with anything. I have looked at my resources and they all look good to me, but I have very limited knowledge on what everything should look like. I am running Windows 7 64bit with 8GB RAM and 1TB hardrive that is only 14% full. Any advice on what to look for would be very helpful. Thank you.
