Ok I am not a novice computer user but I am not a Extreme Expert either. I know good techs are not ashamed to ask for help.

My issue is as follows:

I have been trying to figure out on how to add screen resolution size to a Toshiba L305D-S5895 laptop running Windows 8 Pro. This laptop has an AMD Turion 64 bit x2 (TL-60) mobile duo core processor. This is an old Vista Laptop that has been upgraded to Windows 8 Pro.

On Windows 8 Pro to use the snap-in feature the PC must be able to handle 1366x768. Well the laptop only goes up to 1280x800 and this is my issue.

Without going against BC.com's rules is there a way to modify this PC to get the 1366x768 resolution or am i just out of luck?

I have the latest driver installed already. I am looking for any way to either modify the registry or any other way to modify the screen resolution beyond what you have posted?

I see that there are external video cards available now...you might look into one of those. There is no "tweak" to overcome hardware limitations.
