external soundcard wont install

Bought star tech external soundcard it says in booklet to put cd in tray, click run and type in the following

D:\SOUND\CMedia6206\setup.exe

I do and up pops an error message that says D:\SOUND\CMedia6206\setup.exe refers to a location that is unavailable. it could be on another hard drive on this computer or network. check to make sure disk is properly inserted and then try again.

also went into computer, clicked on the cd drive, then went into the CMedia6206 folder and double click setup.exe

get an error
No hardware found, setup program will now terminate

Also no phone number in booklet, no way to contract manufacturer either

What the drive letter for your CD Drive

Normally D: is your CD and DVD

Try E:\ path name

Or you can go into the CD drive and look for the path manually

Click My computer Right click DVD drive and select Explore and follow the path to the exe file.
