NTLDR Missing On Boot Up From USB

im trying to install xp from a usb stick, i burnt the iso image to usb but everytime i turn on the pc, press f9 and click boot from usb i get NTLDR missing press any key to restart. any ideas? i cant install from disc as my disc drive is broke

Does your BIOS support booting from a USB device?

If it is supported you may need to change the boot order so that the USB is the first device in the boot order.
