Hello and welcome to the forums,

When did the problem start? Did you add any extensions to your browser? Any new software such as firewall or antivirus?

Well doubtful if you have it updated. I was checking to see if you made any changes to your system that would have caused the problem. Have you tried another browser besides firefox(IE, Chrome, etc.)?

Yes I tried chrome ie and un installed fire fox the re installed it what really confuses me is that fire fox will open the filedrop site when I click on it in the tool bar that means that the browser works right?

So none of them will connect? Go to the downloads tab on this site, on page 4 near the bottom is MiniToolBox. Run that and check the following entries:

Flush DNS
Report IE proxy settings
Report FF proxy settings
List IP configuration
List last 10 event viewer errors
List devices only problems

this will produce a .txt file copy and paste it in your next reply

See if you can connect now, if not download and run one more tool. On page 5 Farbar Service Scanner, run it and paste txt here.

Check off box Internet services, the first one should be checked already.

Ok both logs are showing you have a good connection. If you have a firewall disable it and try to connect again. Which version of avast are you using?

They show error and ping web addresses to show connectivity. Are you using the free, pro, or internet security version? if you are using pro or internet security version disable it and try connecting again.
