Great Forum here, I've used a lot of the posted issues to fix my infection of Pum.Hijack.StartMenu. I have done all the Malware scans, TDSKiller, ComboFix, TFC, ESET, and ASW scans, everything seems clean and dandy! Yay!'

My problem now is that even after running "Unhide" I still have my start menu programs missing. The link for the program is there say something like "Nero" but under that it says "Empty" The programs are very much still there, just the shortcuts in the start menu are gone I guess.

On the Unhide directions I verified the %Temp% directory and there was in fact an "SMTMP" folder and it had items in it which I believe are my Start Menu items. I copied it to my Desktop to be safe and also made a copy to my USB drive.

Am I able to restore from this? Or do I have to relink every single program individually?

Thanks in advance!
