I am running a 64 bit Vista OS. I have redirecting issues in IE and firefox with all search engines. Here is a link to what I have already done.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic474795.html/page__gopid__2892310#entry2892310

I then was directed to start with step 6 here
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic34773.html

I ran step 7 with no luck. It say it should take 3 min to complete. It has been going for over 30min and I can't exit out of it.

Skiped step 8 because I'm 64bit

What is the next step I should take. Also get a PEV.DAT has stopped working message. And a SED.DAT stopped working.

I really appreciate all the help I have got.

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
