I bought a computer on Halloween, and have been enjoying it, playing an awesome game called Rift. Anyways, I decided to buy, and download Metro 2033, from Steam. I than began having display issues, so I exchanged the computer today... Since than, I have not had any issues, but I have noticed that my computer is having troubles playing videos with youtube.... I continually get the "Display driver has failed, and recovered." I did some tests, and decided that youtube is in fact causing the issue.

I played Metro 2033 today, for three hours with no issues, and played Rift for two hours with no issues. I was wondering if something is wrong with my computer, or if its an issue with Windows 8. I appreciate any help. I got this computer today, so the likely hood of it being a virus is next to none. Thanks again.

What graphics card do you have? You may just need to update your gpu driver.
