I installed Windows 2008 R2 Std "fresh clean install" about 3 weeks ago and am getting issues with it. I use it for a file server and to run one small program on for network users. It has been getting worse lately with the reboots and errors. I though from the errors in the event tracker it was related to memory, and also due to getting blue screens with crash memory dumps.

Please let me know how to resolve this as it is driving me nuts, I had 2003 adv server before and went to 2008 due to it having more features and articles saying it was solid. Also 2003 support is ending soon.

Please let me know if you need more information to help trouble shoot.

The errors are below that I am getting:

System Events:

Event ID - 10 WMI

Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.

The time service has not synchronized the system time for 86400 seconds because none of the time service providers provided a usable time stamp. The time service will not update the local system time until it is able to synchronize with a time source. If the local system is configured to act as a time server for clients, it will stop advertising as a time source to clients. The time service will continue to retry and sync time with its time sources. Check system event log for other W32time events for more details. Run 'w32tm /resync' to force an instant time synchronization.
