I installed hostsman and now can't access the internet. I uninstalled it and still can't access it. I tried to redo the host program per MS online instructions and even though logged on as an administrator it wouldn't let me change it.

How can I fix my computer?

can't access the internet to do that when I did the let me fix it the and did in the administrator account it said I wasn't the administrator and wouldn't allow the fix that had taken a long time to delete all the host files you have to delete. That's why I posted here.

this isn't the computer that has the problem - and couldn't download onto a cd to use that either

I unistalled it but before uninstalling I did that and it didn't work.

I've going into safe mode and deleted all the files by hand (>70minutes) and placed in the MS suggestion and save and it just made a backup copy instead of deleting - so still can't access.

I deleted the file in safe mode and now it's working. It took several tries as keep saying it was in use.
