Yesterday after playing BF3 my pc froze and i got BSoD i didn't think much of it and restarted my computer, few seconds later after logging on it froze again. I restarted it for the third time and got another BSOD I went into safe mode and launched without any start-up programs. That fixed it for a while so i ran malwarebyes anti-malware, when when i came back in 2 hours my pc froze again! So now am in safe mode and missing my start menu what should i do? I'm using windows vista service pack 2

Edit: i am running startup repair now hopefully that will resolve this

Sounds like you need to test the hard drive in DOS mode for it may be failing.
