Win 7 freezes

Win 7 freezes several times per day, but not the cursor. Also, I am able to "Control-Alt-Delete" via keyboard to get into Task Manager, but not immediately. After 10-15 seconds, Task Manager opens, and Win 7 unfreezes. Please help.

HP Pc, 6GB Ram

I had too many devices connected to my PCs USBs. I fixed the problem by switching the Power option to "High Performance."
