Hi my windows xp (32bit sp3) was caught by zeroaccess rootkit last night, the network connection was lost due to some unidentified tcp/ip problems, after running combofix and bunch of other removal tools, the network is back and everything else seems all right except the network is noticeably slow than before, the actual connection speed is about right (running adsl 2) but it just takes some extra time to connect while web surfing, and strangely that network indicator in the task bar is always on indicating that it constantly sends and receives packages, any ideas?

I think the system is clean because after carefully following those steps to remove that malware everything seems ok, but still something might be wrong somewhere due to this strange network problem.
