Combofix keeps going on forever. It stays with this message like this

Scanning for infected files . . .
This typically doesn't take more than 10 minutes
However, scan times for badly infected machines may easily double

It keeps going on for almost 1 day now. Is this normal? I am running Windows vista. I disabled UAC, anti spyware, virus, and the others.

Hello -
Did you read all the instructions and warnings on the Combofix page ??
These include not to use Combofix unless directed by an Experienced Malware Advisor -

It is not just an Antivirus or Antimalware scanner, and you need to know how to read the logs that it produces.

What stage is Combofix currently running (anywhere up to stage 50) ??

I would Reboot the computer and post the log in Malware Removal if you think you are infected, they will help you -

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== do steps 6 to 9

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include the link to this topic in your new topic and a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.

If HelpBot replies to your topic, PLEASE follow Step One so it will report your topic to the team members.

I just read it now. I opened Combofix almost 1 day ago.

It doesn't show me any stages.

It only shows me like this

Scanning for infected files . . .
This typically doesn't take more than 10 minutes
However, scan times for badly infected machines may easily double
