I was lazy about downloading security software and now I am infected with viruses like Trojan and Hoax. If I reformat the hard drive, will this get rid of the viruses??

Hey KrisB

Sorry to hear about the problems you are having. I agree that yes reformatting should get rid of all these viruses - most people do not go down this path however as they have many things on their computer that they want to keep on there.
Take a bit to think about it - if you like we can try our best to get you cleared up as most issues can be resolved.

Let me know what you want to do - i can give you recommendations for which ever you choose.

Well I guess I am lucky, I do not save much to my hard drive... or I back it up on disc (paranoid I guess). Anyway, I just got out of the military and have a few programs on my PC that I need to get rid of anyway, so this will hopefully work out good for me to clean it all up.... and it gives me something to do today! Thanks for the reply, I will try that.
