It may be a bit early for anyone to know the answer to this.
How do you remove websites that are in the Google search box?./

If you mean to clear the current entry so to input another, then one just right clicks on the box and then click "cut" to clear it.

Is that what you were refering to???

Yes,indeed that removes the site from the box but not permantley.
Let me try and explain a little better.
In the box that i am refering to there are a number of sites, some of which i want to keep ,others delete altogether.
Is that a little more clear?

I guess you are refering to the drop down box which is the history file of items that you've previously searched - correct?

I don't believe that there is a means to modifly that file. I may be wrong, so I guess we'll need to wait on one of the PRO's to help out.

I thgink Firefox is great.
It is missing one thing!!!!! Google Toolbar which i like very much.Perhaps in due course.

I have now downloaded Googlebar,but i am unable to get it to install on firefox ,it keeps taking me back to IE

What you are talking about is Googlebar.Two totally different things.
