Windows SP2 will not install on Windows Vista Home Premium x64 based system; I have tried a stand-alone install and an install through windows update both give me the error code 0x800f0900. Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated, I cannot play the Diablo 3 game I bought because of this issue! :(

I have already gone through the Am I infected? and the malware removal forums on this website and have removed the viruses on my computer I was told to post in the Vista forum for help with this and now you just moved me back into where I started! THANKS FOR NOTHING! Can someone move this thread back into where I posted it?

So thanks for moving this topic into a different forum cause I have gotten 0 responses in 20 days!! Guess I'll just have to remake this thread where I made it in the first place but this time with a clear message NOT TO MOVE IT.

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
