I have been trying to burn some cd's today which normally goes without a hitch.

After the 3rd or fourth track being burnt at normal speed WMP seems to take forever to complete the rest of the album,
At first I thought it was a bad cd, but I have tried different cd's and also different music as well and the same thing keeps on happening.

I hope someone can help me with this problem as it is very annoying.

Thanks in advance

Are you getting error messages during the burns?

Does your burning efforts result in log output of problems?

Please post the optical drive/computer model in question. Unless its a wearing out or overused drive for burning which may possibly contribute in effect, have you tried using another burning media software or checking the WMP burning speed options per cd?

I'm not sure what caused this problem but the day after and it seems to have sorted itself out now.

Let's hope it doesn't come back again.
