Hi, my OS Win 7x64 IE9 and just started experiencing a problem with connecting to the internet. The issue arises when I first connect to the internet. After a few minutes things freeze and there is no response when I move the mouse or attempt to click. Then I am abruptly disconnected from the internet. After a few seconds I am reconnected. Thinking that it may be a virus or other malware I ran MBAM, SAS and MSE along with RKill and TDSS killer. All results are negative. Just wondering what is causing this and how does one correct it. I have not added any new programs or such and the only thing replaced recently is a new mouse. Suggestions anyone? Help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd try uninstalling/reinstalling the network connection driver...they can become damaged.

I'd also try a different browser, to see if it's an IE issue.

Thanks Hamluis for your response. Did as suggested and haven't experienced any issues today. I also went to manufacturer's site and browsed for any updates for drivers and utilities and downloaded same as there were 8 recommended. Thanks to you and BC. Know I can rely on this forum for answers.
