Hello All,

I do a lot of editing on my computer and would like to add a screen to my arsenal to make it easier to edit. I have a few questions;

My PC is a Sony Vaio, and has a ATI Radeon Mobility HD 3650 card. I am currently using a 17" laptop Screen and a 16" External Acer Monitor. I am currently extending the desktop between the two. I am using a VGA cable to connect to the monitor and have one HDMI port open.

I recently purchased a 27" Samsung Monitor to replace the 16", but after using it and thinking about it all, I would like to incorporate the 16" back in as a third extended desktop. I have tried connecting the HDMI cable to the 27" and the VGA to the 16", but to no avail it only registers the 27" (HDMI Cable) screen.

My questions are;

(1) Will my graphics card allow me to do what I am trying to do?
(2) Will a traditional Y Splitter (VGA x (2) VGA) allow me to extend the monitors along with the main laptop screen?
