driver problems

Hey all,

I recently had a system with a ukash ransomware infection, deleted this using malwarebytes and super anti spyware.

All was well but it seems some drivers are giving me a headache.
I tried a lot of things like reinstalling all the drivers, chkdsk and using sfc scan.

What advice can you give me ?

There was a error in the previous script.I have modified it.Please run system look with new script and post the log

Sorry,had an urgent work

Copy this file

C:\Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-wdf-kernellibrary_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_76296e5d7f3fae5b\Wdf01000.sys

and paste it in

C:\windows\system32\drivers folder

Download

wdf01000

Launch it and click YES

Restart the PC and check your DEVICE MANAGER for errors.

whenever i try to copy that file i get the fault: not enough permissions to copy.
do i need to make myself owner of the file in order for the copy to work ?

Yep

You can launch command prompt as administrator and run these commands

cd \Windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-wdf-kernellibrary_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_76296e5d7f3fae5b
takeown /a /f Wdf01000.sys
cacls Wdf01000.sys /g everyone:f


You should be able to copy this file now.

the "cacls Wdf01000.sys /g everyone:f" command does not work.
probably because it's an domain computer

No problem,try to boot into safemode and copy the file or follow this guide to manually take ownership of the file

hmm i thought the commands did the same as this guide.
anyhow i have followed this trought and was able to copy the file.

after rebooting the system i get following error:
windows can not load the essential system file, it is missing or damaged.

C:\windows\system32\drivers\wdf01000.sys

status 0xc0000098

will try to use the repair function from the Win7 DVD

Win7 dvd repaired the wdf01000.sys using systemrestore.

looks like the copy was just undone.
same problem is still visible in device manager.
