Hello,

I need some help about a task on school. I must find out how your hard disk divides into partitions (partition).
What are the advantages and disadvantages of partitioning?
Why is it useful to partition?

If I am correct, you can split you're harddisk into 2 or more spaces? A 300GB and 150GB for example? Or means it that you overwrite your harddisk?

Thanks already for the help,
