Hi There,

my wife has a dell laptop that suddenly is not connecting to our wireless. Not only is it not connecting, it does not allow her the option to select a wireless connector nor shows anything under Network Connections. Her task bar at the bottom has also changed as did the entire appearance (icon/colours). It also does not want to open any programs, but hitting cntrl/alt/delete does not show anything. She has tried restarting.

Any ideas?

she just did a second reboot and it looks normal wiht the exception of the shortcuts still missing from near the start button. Wireless also connects.

Any thoughts?
