Hi PC guru's,
Kaspersky Tech Support has failed me and Fire Fox isn't much help either.
Is any one up to the challenge of helping me out?
I upgraded to FireFox 16.0.1 and my KPM: 5.0.0.169 has ceased to be available in the top tray as a caption button.
My operating system is Win XP
I uninstalled and reinstalled KPM 5.0.0.169 and uninstalled /reinstalled FireFox 16.0.1.
I also used Kaspersky Kavremover to clean all of the old KPM out before reinstalling.
As I said there is no caption button in the upper right and no auto fill, in other words I cannot use KPM as it is designed to work, I can only copy and paste from Password Manager at the bottom right of the page.
This upgrade worked ok with my laptop running Vista.
I have been using KPM for ever and it has been good to me,
Thanks

Saw your post at Kaspersky and it gave no direct answer -
Try for an earlier version of F/Fox, it may help - Link is to File Hippo older versions -

I would uninstall Firefox, then uninstall/reinstall KPM...and see if it works as it should with IE.

Sounds like Firefox should not be used with it, in that case.

Mysteries are fine but not when it comes to computer functioning :).

I'd try the Firefox forum for answers.

FireFox Forum users while trying to be helpful are not very aware of KPM and we are not having any success with this .. KPM appears in "plugin" but not in "Extensions"
I created a new profile last night to no avail, this is crazy, there must be some help that you fantastic "Bleeping Computer" brains can offer, you have most always came through in the past.
thanks

GOOD NEWS!!

I have been working with NASDAQ a bleeping computer forum addict on a PUP and Blue Screen issue as well.

Among many things he asked me this morning to run AdwCleaner and to delete everthing that was found.

After running AdwCleaner I opened up the default Fire Fox profile and there was that old familiar box asking me if it could install KPM into FireFox, of course I checked allow and restarted FireFox and well wouldn't you know it, thare was that familiar green key in the upper right corner of the page , yesssssssssss!

This was an amazing problem that once again is solved by a BC forum Addict (unintentionally in this case but non the less - DONE!!
