Hello guys, I am using a dimension 4600 with a blank hard drive. I have been trying to install Windows XP onto the hard drive using an install cd. I have not been having an luck. When I try to boot from the cd, it either won't load the boot menu and says "Diskette Drive 0 seek failure" or when it does load the boot menu and I try to start from the cd drive, it says "BOOTMGR is missing. Press CTRL+ALT+DLT to restart" I really need to get this computer up and running. You guys got any tips?

Hi,

It seems the computer doesn't start from the CD and is booting from the Hard Disk that is formatted.
You need to try booting form another Windows XP CD maybe the drive can't read the disk you have, if this doesn't work consider replacing the CD drive.
