As of a few days ago, certain programs have been taking a very long time to open or even to close. In general, it seems that it takes much less than usual to make the laptop slow down or freeze up. I have used CCleaner to clean the registry and delete cookies etc, I have run a full scan using Microsoft Security Essentials which returned nothing other than some unrecognized Minecraft files, and have also used msconfig.exe to stop non-Microsoft services from running at start-up.

Two of the programs that take a long time to open are Skype and Minecraft - both take approximately a minute and a half to finish opening. Aside from that, response time in general seems to be much slower. Not sure what else to say really, no idea what is causing this. Thanks!
