Hello!

I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop with Vista Basic.

1. Push the power button.
2. I see the Bios screen.
3. Then black/blank screen.

4. I insert a flash drive that has Sardu and RepairDiscWindows 7 Bit (Grub) ISO.
5. Restart.
6. Window is loading files...
7. Microsoft Corporation progress bar appears then disappears.
8. Black screen with white arrow cursor in the center of it.

Any help appreciated getting this working!

Thanks!

Update:

I ran BootMed and now have the following error when the computer boots up:

Windows Boot Manager:
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1. Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next."
3. Click "Repair your computer."

If you do not have the disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

File: \Boot\BCD

Status: 0xc0000001

Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data.

When I hit enter, it just restarts my laptop and brings me to the same screen. My laptop did not come with a installation disc.

Any ideas?
