Hi -

Please re-check your Modem / Router wires and connectors setup - Error 0x8024460A is not a recognised error number -

Write the number down again and re-check it against what you have listed -

Thank You -

Windows update does not work on XP until you have Service Pack 3 (SP3) installed.

  • On a computer with internet access, first download Internet Explorer 8.0.
  • Next, download XP Service Pack 3.
  • Copy files to CD or USB flash drive.
  • Install IE 8.0 first, followed by SP3, then attempt Windows Update.

Regards,
Brooks

I attempt to type in the search box on the MSN page and it shuts down after the first few letters so I can't access the internet to download IE 8. Chevelle67
