I'm having issues with my Yahoo messenger not connecting. I need help fixing the situation. It gets down to connect with ports 5050 and 80 and it either fails or times out. Can someone help?

Edit: Moved topic from Windows 7 to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Hello and Welcome -
http://www.helpbytes.co.uk/yconnect.php << This is a good site for viewing Yahoo problems
There is a full Index on the left side with much good information, all of it is dedicated to Yahoo mail issues -

Although I think it is a UK based site most of it is World related
Have a read first and repost if none of your questions are covered in any way -

For the more techno minded, This site indicates that the ports used are:
Voice Chat: TCP 5000 & 5001, UDP 2000-5010
Messages: TCP 5050 which reinforces the information above
Webcam video: TCP 5100 - which differs from the cyberphaze ports
Games: TCP 11999

Thank You -
