Everytime I boot my pc up i am getting a black screen which says 'CMOS Settings Wrong' and gives me several options, however, only 'F1 to run Set up' works. The other options such as F2 to load default value and continue, fails to work.

Once i press F1, a blue 'Ambios New Set up Utility' screen appears which allows me to change date and time but I cannot escape the page apart from going back to the Set up and choosing Ssve and Esc. Then the machine boots up normally and works fine, until I switch off and on again.

Any ideas?

I suggest you replace the cmos battery. Let's see if that fixes it.
