Dear all,
I wanted just to tell you that after your help with virus removal the laptop was working good for 1-2 weeks and I made a donation since I was happy for the results. But now since about 10 days it started to slow incredibly down. At the beginning it was slower to do major tasks, now it gets stuck for 5-10 seconds (showing the sand-glass) only right clicking on a file to check the properties, or opening a new directory. Opening a new program like Matlab takes up to 5 minutes now. I rebooted 3 times but nothing. The laptop is pretty powerful (processor i7 2.2 Ghz with 8 GB of RAM) and it is only a few months old and I do not think it is a hardware problem. Or maybe the hard disk? I lunched a defrag yesterday night and it is still running, only 16% consolidated, while usually in one night is all done. Could u please help me on this? My previous thread with help for removing a virus is at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic469438.html/page__st__30 ?
thanks
Venexiano

I see your log is properly posted, here, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a Malware Removal Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show it the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the Malware Removal Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic.
