hi

my laptop fan doesn't start at boot and as a result laptop overheats within a few mins and shuts down.
I have tried opening and cleaning the fan, and removed all dust.
I have also changed power options and made processor cooling always active.

But still the fan doesn't start. Its just once in around 5-6 tries that it starts and I can do my work.

Please provide solutions...Is there a way to manually control speed of fan like some program ?
Is there a way to keep fan on all the time.I dont care about effect on battery ,but i want my laptop not to overheat.

Also I don't want cooling pads...

Thanks
Jose

is it the CPU fan or the extra systemfan in your laptop?

have you tried flashing to the latest bios version ?
this could fix fan issues.

when cleaning your fan, did you try to remove and reconnect the fan?
maybe the connection is not good anymore or some dust is in the way.

Did you fully disassemble the laptop when you cleaned it?
If I am helping you and I haven't replied to your thread in 3 days, please PM me or bump it
