My computer firs up and works for the most part, but my mouse has started stalling, the screen can be moved with the arrow keys and space bar, but the mouse will not move untill I hit those keys. Also when I shut my PC down it just turns right back on What could cause the problem?

Edit: Moved topic from Introductions to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal
