Hello and welcome to the forum. Follow the instructions in the posted order please.

1) C:\Program Files\LimeWire\LimeWire.exe >> http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/pest/Pe...px?id=453088059 and this: http://www.spywareinfo.com/articles/p2p/ While I certainly don't suggest p2p file sharing for any reason, I would uninstall this junk and choose a safe one from the list.

Thanks to Atribune and any others who helped with this fix

2) Please download VundoFix v4.2.35 to the Desktop:
http://www.atribune.org/content/view/24/2/
* Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it
* Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task
* You will receive a message saying VundoFix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK
* When VundoFix re-opens, click: Scan for Vundo
* Once it's done scanning, click: Remove Vundo
* A prompt asking if you want to remove the files appears, click: Yes
* Once you click yes, the Desktop goes blank as it starts removing Vundo.
* When completed, a prompt to shutdown the computer appears, click OK
* Turn the computer back on.

Some items may be gone when you get to them, just do not miss any.

3) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank
O2 - BHO: MSEvents Object - {79A576C4-B7A9-47EC-B57C-2CE5CA6ECC6A} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\gebyx.dll G
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {9B053E00-78D3-47AE-B763-60FF36FF2886} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k
O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [AOLRebootNeeded] regsvr32.exe /s
O9 - Extra button: PartyPoker.com - {B7FE5D70-9AA2-40F1-9C6B-12A255F085E1} - C:\Program Files\PartyPoker\PartyPoker.exe G
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: PartyPoker.com - {B7FE5D70-9AA2-40F1-9C6B-12A255F085E1} - C:\Program Files\PartyPoker\PartyPoker.exe
O20 - Winlogon Notify: gebyx - C:\WINDOWS\system32\gebyx.dll

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

4) Enable hidden files&folders..reverse the process when finished.
http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html

RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

C:\Windows\Prefetch\ >>> delete the contents (NOT THE FOLDER)
Prefetch info: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_...refetch-XP.html

5) If you don't have a good cleaner, use this free one with these instructions:
Download CCleaner from this link: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Review the instructions http://www.ccleaner.com/help/tour1.asp
Run CCleaner, Windows & Applications when you run the registry cleaner (Issues) you will be prompted to backup before you can remove stuff, make sure you do.

Post the C:\vundofix.txt, a new HJT log and your comments, how is the computer running now.

C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_02\bin\npjpi142_02.dll
you Java program is out of date and a security problem, see this link: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=2559
