I was directed to this forum by narenxp from the "Am I infected forum" after several, several steps trying to clear up problems from Trojan-Alureon.fq to post dds and gmer logs but now I have twice been shut down to blue screen while trying to run gmer log, I successfully got the dds logs. I was wondering if I could try to get the gmer log in safe mode, will it have all the information needed? (hopefully wont go to blue screen)

I have been having several internet problems and about 3 blue screens since, linked below are the steps I have already done to attempt to clear all this up but right now I am just trying to get the proper logs.

I finally could run the gmer scan in normal mode, the requested logs are posted below:

Third party programs if not up to date can be the cause infiltration of an infection.

Please run this security check for my review.

Download Security Check by screen317 from here.
  • Save it to your Desktop.
  • Double click SecurityCheck.exe and follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
  • A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.
===

Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode onto your Desktop.
  • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click on Search.
  • A logfile will automatically open after the scan has finished.

Looking good.

Remove the AdWare, PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) installed on your computer.

  • Close all open programs and internet browsers.
  • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
  • Click on Delete.
  • Everything that was found will be deleted.
  • Follow the prompts to reboot the computer. A text file will open after the restart.
  • Please post the content of that logfile with your next answer.
  • You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[Sn].txt (n is a number)..

I do have a few other things that I am concerned about that I took no action on because I was waiting for instructions on what to do:

#1.The computer is prompting me to update my Java program:
User Account Control
Program name: jucheck.exe
verified publisher: Oracle America Inc.
File origin: Hard drive on this computer
Program location: C:\Program files\common files\Java\Java Update

I did not want to go through with the udate because when I ran a Security Essential scan there were several items that were quaranteed having to do with Java.

#2.I have not deleted or took action on the scan until you told me what to do with it:
Trojan:DOS/Alureon.I
Trojan:Java/Mjal.A
TrojanDownloader:Java/OpenConnection.OU
TrojanDownloader:Java/OpenConnection
Exploit:Java/CVE-2010-0840.DR
Exploit:Java/CVE-2010-0840.HH
Exploit:Java/CVE-2010-0840.JV
Exploit:Java/CVE-2010-0840
Exploit:Java/CVE-2011-3544E
Exploit:Java/CVE-2011-3544

Will wait for further instructions!

Check this site. If I remember well the latest version is 9.

Your version of Java is outdated and needs to be updated to take advantage of fixes that have eliminated security vulnerabilities.

Check your present version and update as recommended.
https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp

If present remove the old version(s) of Java using the Add/Remove Programs applet.

Java 7 Update 7

===

Anything found in the the Quarantine folder can be deleted.

If you get any references to Java after the installation of the new version clean the cache.
Clean the Java Cache. Tutorial.
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml

Let me know of any other issues.

I have updated the Java to: Java 7 update 9. Deleted the quaratine items in the Microsoft Security Essentials. Just ran another scan and it has found the same items of the first scan with the exception of the Trojan:DOS/Alueon.I

Trojan:Java/Mjal.A
TrojanDownloader:Java/OpenConnection.OU
TrojanDownloader:Java/OpenConnection
Exploit:Java/CVE-2010-0840.DR
Exploit:Java/CVE-2010-0840.HH
Exploit:Java/CVE-2010-0840.JV
Exploit:Java/CVE-2010-0840
Exploit:Java/CVE-2011-3544E
Exploit:Java/CVE-2011-3544

What I have noticed looking at the descriptions are that they all are located in AVG, that I had uninstalled, but when I look for the containing folder it is there (C:\Users\bronson\AppData\Roaming\AVG\Rescue\PC Tuneup 2011 is the beginning description on all these threats). Should I just deleted the folders that security essentials finds these threats in or what because the last time I clicked on the CLEAN PC button it didnt do any good. I would attach a copy of the log from the first run but it does not show under the History tab, unless it would be located elsewhere on my computer.

AVG does not let get easy.

Please download the AVG Remover and Save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all programs and double-click avgremover.exe then click Run
  • In Vista/Win7, right-click and choose 'Run as administrator'.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Restart your computer if asked.
  • Then delete avgremover.exe from your desktop.

Then remove any AVG folders from your computer if present.

Downloaded and ran the AVGRemover, I dont believe that it found anything, but there were several files that I found and deleted. Just completed another Security Essentials scan and it said my computer was clean  But I dont want to celebrate too soon. Is there any scans that I can run and post to see if everything looks good. I dont see any ill effects, but that is not saying much.

Run this scan.

I'd like us to scan your machine with ESET OnlineScan
  • Hold down Control and click on the following link to open ESET OnlineScan in a new window.
    ESET OnlineScan
  • Click the Posted Image button.
  • For alternate browsers only: (Microsoft Internet Explorer users can skip these steps)
    • Click on Posted Image to download the ESET Smart Installer. Save it to your desktop.
    • Double click on the Posted Image icon on your desktop.
  • Check Posted Image
  • Click the Posted Image button.
  • Accept any security warnings from your browser.
  • Check Posted Image
  • Push the Start button.
  • ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer. Please be patient as this can take some time.
  • When the scan completes, push Posted Image
  • Push Posted Image, and save the file to your desktop using a unique name, such as ESETScan. Include the contents of this report in your next reply.
  • Push the Posted Image button.
  • Push Posted Image

Result of the ESET scan:

C:\Users\bronson\DoctorWeb\Quarantine\44d348f6-23306da4 Java/Exploit.CVE-2012-0507.AM trojan deleted - quarantined

This is a new Java issue that Security Essentials did not pick up on the scan after running the AVGRemover tool and me deleting all the AVG files I could find and I updated my Java to the current version and removed and deleted any old Java that I could find.
I dont remember downloading this DoctorWeb program but I was wondering if I should just delete the whole folder? It does not show in control panel as an installed program so I dont have the option to uninstall.

You can delete the C:\Users\bronson\DoctorWeb\ folder.

I think it's from this tool.

Please download DrWeb-CureIt and save it to your Desktop.

Thank you I will start cleaning up. Another question I have is, this all started by me not having updated or any virus protection, but through all these days of trying to cure my computer I have been instructed to download a lot of them. I did a scan with security check and have posted the results below. I was just wondering if I should keep them all on my computer, will they fight each other and slow down my computer? Which one do you suggest I keep?

Delete ComboFix as suggested.
This tool is updated regularly and should not be run unless suggested by a trained helper.

If you use the other tools make sure you get the latest version before running it.
They also get updated as needed.
