hi, I just installed it on a older P4 machine with 512 meg of ram ,fresh install of of winxp home ,and found it slowed down browsing a bit ,uninstalled and IE7 seemed to run a little faster than ie8 ,have to say that I never have any problems with it on computers with over 512 meg of ram. ,try it if you have problems its uninstable in Add and remove programs .

I use IE10 myself on win8 and it works ok, sometime I find when I click on icon's like the ones here, to save changes and edit post ,it takes two click ,might be just my computer
