Hello and thanks in advance for any and all help from this day forward.

My question pertains to when I open an email and want to download an attached file. In the past when I did this the computer was smart enough to use whatever it needed to open the file and present it. Now, for whatever reason, when I download it doesn't work. Currently it tries to open the file with adobe. I have tried wordpad and notepad and that makes the page look like hyroglifics (sp?). I don't know what happened to the default setting nor do I know how to find it.

Thanks again for the help.
