Downloaded from CNET:
http://download.cnet.com/Elite-Keylogger/3000-2162_4-10383364.html

On my other laptop, and it said that it had to restart the laptop, but after that, it keeps freezing after i try to login.

It takes 10mins~ to get to login, then ~1min to freeze completely.

Not sure if this is a virus or whatnot since it was hosted on cnet.

Please help. :(

Hello and welcome to BC,

Uninstall from the Add/Remove Programs (XP) or in Vista / Windows 7 It is Programs and Features:
  • Elite Keylogger
Pleas download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and do a quick scan.
Delete all programs that are detected and reboot. The logfile can be found here:
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware -> Logs.

In the next post I want see the MBAM log and let me know if you uninstalled the Elite Keylogger from my first step.
@Scophie, why reinstall? Then you install it again, I think that you mean uninstall?

Good luck with it!
