this is my aunts laptop. Whenever you turn it on a thing pops up saying that the FBI has taken control of the computer and I need to pay 200 bucks from GreenDot.

Here is what I have done so far to get rid of this, I run in Safe Mode then I have run a Malware Bytes scan, 3 things come up, i remove them. The computer restarts and it seems to be running fine, no FBI warning. I run another Malware Bytes scan and 3 things come up, I remove them, then the last thing being removed tells me I need to restart the computer to remove everything, I do and the FBI thing is back. I've run TDSSKiller and nothing comes up.

with MB Scan, 2 things are a folder and a file, the folder is titled, Hellomoto and the files are inside that folder. The 3rd thing

I've restored the computer to a few days ago, and ran another Malware Bytes Scan and 3 things pop up in that same folder hellomoto.

so there is the problem, please tell me what I gotta do and I will do the necessary scans and post the necessary results.

ok I did that. it took a long time to do. But I forgot to put it in safe mode. it found one thing. The folder hellomoto is no longer there, not sure where it went, seeing as it was gone before the scan.

I put the one thing it did find into containment. so I'm wondering should I risk another hour and a half scan to do this all in safe more?
