Hello,

several of the Windows 7 machines on our domain here at work are reporting that windows could not search for new updates. We have just recently had a new server installed SBS2011 and then shorty after is when this issue sprang up. The windows xp machines are able to update fine. any ideas? (below is a screenshot of what i'm seeing)

So the server is preventing windows update from working? Why isnt it affecting the windows XP machines? From what I have discussed with the IT company who setup the server for me WSUS isnt currently being used.

What's the purpose of the poll...versus the issues you enumberated and which seemingly have been resolved?

I ask because I would like to remove that section of this topic if it's not germane to anything.
