I have an optiplex GX270 with A06 bios---I am trying to configure with an IDE drive and a SATA drive, the IDE drive being the master or boot drive---How do I set up the bios to boot from that drive and have access to the SATA drive?

Connect the (P)ATA hdd to the Master IDE connector and set the jumper to reflect that it is the master.

Connect the SATA hdd to the SATA data connector on the hdd. You will need to enable the SATA drive in the BIOS.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
