Hey guys,

So I have a decently aged HP Pavilion (approx. 5 yrs) and it has recently been blue screening on me. I used to have the same problem a couple years ago with this same laptop, but it went away after some cleaning up via instructions from helpers on this forum. The blue screens tend to happen when I watch videos on Hulu and I'm not sure why. Is it overloading my comp? Anyway, I would appreciate any help from the intelligent folk at bleepingcomputer.com!

Thanks,
Grace

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

==============================

Download and install System Information for Windows
Run the program.
After it scans your computer, navigate to Hardware>Sensors and post all info from there.

That looks normal.
What browser do you use to watch Hulu?
Did you try different browser?

I normally use Chrome for everything. I've noticed that the Shockwave player crashes a lot too. If I don't use Chrome, then I'll use Mozilla

Are you getting BSOD while using Firefox as well?

I haven't used Firefox in quite a while. I use Chrome because I think it's lighter and, with the age of my comp, bulkier programs slow it down a lot. My comp is pretty slow nowadays.

I need you to check if same issue happens in Firefox and possibly in IE.
