Hello, my internet is dropping it's connection for some reason every day, sometimes twice a day. When I try to reboot, it takes forever to reboot and sometime doesn't. Some times I have left it for 30 minutes and had to turn it off as it never rebooted.

Windows 7 Pro 64bit, all updates installed.
ZoneAlarm Security Suite, most recent version.
MBAM, most recent version.
Scans come up with nothing.
Running with a dynamic ip address, tried with static, same issue.
Other computers in the house have no connectivity issues.
Have swapped out the network cable with different one, same issue.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks, Chris

Update, last time it dropped my internet, I rebooted, 15 minutes to logoff. Absolutely no connection this time. Disabled the onboard NIC and installed a PCI-E NIC card and it's working again.

Looks like it might be a hardware issue. I'll update as things progress.

See how you go. Could be worth checking that there are no loose cables between the phone jack and the router as well.

Update. Looks like it was the built in NIC card. I have another one in a PCI slot and it's working fine, no dropped internet any more.
