Hi, everyone. I found this place after I had an apparent virus/malware problem. Looks like a great place.

I'm a retired dinosaur computer programmer and programing instructor. Took my first computer programming class in 1962 on an IBM 1620 computer with 60,000 bytes of six bit memory. Started out working for IBM in 1966. Eleven companies later, and an 18 month stretch as a house husband in the early 80's, I finally retired 5 years ago. In the middle '90s, I finally got a Masters in Computer Science that I'd promised myself when I graduated in 1966. Now with smartphones, tablets, ultrafast desktops, and an endless supply of any kind of info you want on the web, retirement is good.

Be Well,
Dave

Part of that endless supply of information will come from BC and hopefully be of use to you given your computing background.
Thanks for joining and welcome to BC!
Regards,
John
