Hi,

Recently my Acer PC has had the Blue Screen of Death. Now when I boot the pc it goes straight into Startup Repair. The first time it did this it did not find a solution but I was able to go to a backup and when it restarted I was able to successfully load. I then started transferring files to my usb. As I was transferring a lot of my files, I can't remember if I got another BLOF or it just restarted but ever since then it just boots straight into Startup Repair, which cannot find a solution, but I have used my backups already so I don't have any more backups to go to.

Here is a log of what Startup Repair gives about the problem:

Hello sturgis,

If you are still experiencing problems, there are a few things you can try.

( 1.) What is the model number of your Acer computer? Any installation or recovery media?

( 2.) Have you tried Last Known Good Configuration ? If not:
  • Please power on the computer and start tapping the F8 key to bring up the Advanced Boot Options Menu.
  • If successful:
  • Do you have a Repair Your Computer option? Please let us know.
  • Arrow down to Last Known Good Configuration and press <Enter>. Reboot.
  • Success?

Regards,
Brooks
