I tried the cards on my laptop and they work and have data

and if you manually go to My Computer it doesnt show up

Please post the computer model/brand, OS and card reader next time. So the card reader with SD cards are good on the laptop but not on your desktop?

Do a System Restore to a date prior to this problem.

Go to Start> All programs> Accessories> System Tools> System Restore.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
