Hi All,

i'm on the market for a multifunction laser printer for HOME use.

İ intent to use it mainly for printing and scanning.

Any recommendations please,i want to hear from people, who have a machine they are happy with,

performance wise and is reliable.

Thank you.

There are a host of scanners that fill your generic description...my approach would be to go with a "name brand" (known for producing scanners) at the right price (determined by me).

I hardly scan/print anything these days but I would suggest Brother, Canon, HP, Minolta...as a starting point.

I also suggest not honing in on a particular model, since these products seem to come off the assembly line every week :).

Possibly may help in your search, http://printscan.about.com/od/printerscannerreviews/tp/bestlaserprinters.htm .

İ forgot to mention,that i prefer CANON,

but yes i'm aware of all the top brands.

Just wanted an opinion of anyone who has a multifunction printer.

Thank you very much for your reply and the link Louis.

I have had and have clients who have very good results using HP multifunction printers. Canon makes some good ones as well but Ib have had some that were total lemons so do your research on any model you are interested in.
Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.

Thank you for the reply Baltboy.

İ did my research of course and decided on the CANON PİXMA MX375.

i've had it for a week now and so far so good.

My old printer was from HP,which i was very happy with, for 5.5 years

but on the few times i needeed some support, well it wasn't available.

Simply sucked quite frankly.İ was told that CANON support was good, and that appears to be true

as their replies to my questions were prompt and useful,on the two occasions i've contacted them so far.

İ hope i'll be as happy with the printer in the long run as well.
