Per request at the link below:

Hello. I recently had a virus issue on my laptop and I recieved assistance here:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic470118.html

I'm still having a little bit of trouble. Trend Micro Titanium recognized another Trojan file in the \System32\ folder today. Whenever I navigated to this folder, I saw this one program that kept reappearing and disappearing. As I watched, Trend would recognize the faulty program, delete it, but in the course of a few seconds, a new program would take its place. Trend kept classifying the programs as TROJ_SPNR.22IP12. I'm literally at my wit's end with all of this trojan stuff; if someone could please help, I would greatly appreciate it. Here's a list of the viruses Trends has recognized so far... Again, as soon as they're deleted, a new file takes their place.

I also ran a Malewarebytes scan earlier today, and no malicious items were detected, if that helps.

Alright, I did as you suggested with the first step. After I ran FRST, I rebooted but a driver error window popped up and said that it was looking for drivers:

It kept loading for like ten minutes, so I went ahead and closed out of it. Everything seemed to run fine though. Here are the logs.

I have previously run Malwarebytes before when I had a larger infection on my computer. It put two files into quarantine back then. Do you recommend I remove these files or do you think I should just keep them in quarantine?

ESET Online Scanner Log

This scan took longer than I expected. Microsoft Windows would occasionally freeze up, so I had to end the process once it did so. The scan kept going as normal though. No threats were found

Posted Image

EDIT: After I exited out of the ESET results window, Windows popped up a window saying that ESET might not have installed correctly. Does this affect anything?

EDIT: I also just found out that Chrome doesn't support ESET. I didn't realize this before I ran the scan, so I just save the program onto my computer and ran the scan from there. Is that fine?

EDIT:
I finally found where the ESET log was stored.

ok, looking good.

Yes, you can delete the quarantined files in MBAM, although they cannot harm your computer if they are left alone in quarantine.

How is the computer running now? Are updates working properly?

Have you noticed any issues or are things running as they should?

I just ran a Quick Scan with Trend like I did originally, and no threats were found. I think everything's running okay now.

Could you please run me through uninstalling all the programs that I had to use? I want to be sure I'm doing so properly. Also, I posted another help topic before this one. Could you help me uninstall all of the programs I used for that one too? I used these programs in the previous topic:

TDSSKiller
aswMBR
Farbar Service Scanner
ESET
Mini Toolbox
Adware Cleaner
Junkware Removal Tool
RKill
Autoruns

Thank you!

all of the tools other than ComboFix, ESET and adwCleaner can be deleted by right click and delete

ESET possibly has an entry in Programs and Features that you can remove (Start > control panel > programs and features)if it is not there, then right click and delete it.

Below I have included a number of recommendations for how to protect your computer against malware infections.

  • It is good security practice to change your passwords to all your online accounts on a fairly regular basis, this is especially true after an infection. Refer to this Microsoft article
Strong passwords: How to create and use them
Then consider a password keeper, to keep all your passwords safe. KeePass is a small utility that allows you to manage all your passwords.

  • Keep Windows updated by regularly checking their website at :
    http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
This will ensure your computer has always the latest security updates available installed on your computer.

  • Make Internet Explorer more secure
    • Click Start > Run
    • Type Inetcpl.cpl & click OK
    • Click on the Security tab
    • Click Reset all zones to default level
    • Make sure the Internet Zone is selected & Click Custom level
    • In the ActiveX section, set the first two options ("Download signed and unsigned ActiveX controls) to "Prompt", and ("Initialize and Script ActiveX controls not marked as safe") to "Disable".
    • Next Click OK, then Apply button and then OK to exit the Internet Properties page.

  • Download TFC to your desktop
    • Close any open windows.
    • Double click the TFC icon to run the program
    • TFC will close all open programs itself in order to run,
    • Click the Start button to begin the process.
    • Allow TFC to run uninterrupted.
    • The program should not take long to finish it's job
    • Once its finished it should automatically reboot your machine,
    • if it doesn't, manually reboot to ensure a complete clean
It's normal after running TFC cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time.

  • ERUNT (Emergency Recovery Utility NT) allows you to keep a complete backup of your registry and restore it when needed. The standard registry backup options that come with Windows back up most of the registry but not all of it. ERUNT however creates a complete backup set, including the Security hive and user related sections. ERUNT is easy to use and since it creates a full backup, there are no options or choices other than to select the location of the backup files. The backup set includes a small executable that will launch the registry restore if needed.

I have done as you suggested. What about the FRST program on my flash drive and its files/folders on my computer? I noticed that it had created a folder on my C drive containing logs and a quarantine folder. What should I do about that?

Otherwise, I think everything's okay. Thank you so much for the help!!!

yes, those can be deleted too,

if the quarantine folder won't delete because of permission issues, then run this batch

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

rd /s/q c:\frst

Save this as remove.bat Choose to "Save type as - All Files"
It should look like this: Posted Image
Right click on remove.bat, select Run As Administrator, & allow it to run.

Let me know if the FRST folder is now removed

I was able to delete the folder on the first try.

If anything fishy appears later, I'll be sure to come back. Everything seems to be running fine now, though. Thank you very much!

Oh, one more question before this is closed. Trend Micro Titanium recognizes the TFC link that you provided as dangerous. What should I do about that?
